About the Role
As a Shopify Developer, your primary focus will be designing and developing custom Shopify stores tailored for dropshipping. You’ll ensure that each store is optimized for speed, SEO, and conversions while integrating with essential tools like DSers and AliExpress for smooth product imports and order fulfillment. This role is perfect for a developer who understands the technical side of Shopify, but also has a strong grasp of the dropshipping business model.
Your goal will be to create fully functional, aesthetically pleasing, and high-performing stores that align with our clients' brand vision and business goals. You'll work closely with our Virtual Assistant who oversees the Done-For-You store process.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and optimize custom Shopify stores specifically for dropshipping.
• Integrate and manage DSers and AliExpress, ensuring seamless product imports and order fulfillment.
• Customize Shopify themes to meet client brand aesthetics and functionality requirements.
• Optimize store performance including speed, SEO, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to store setup, integrations, and plugins.
• Research and curate trending products that align with current market demands and best dropshipping practices based on client niches.
• Set up and automate product listings, including descriptions, pricing rules, and inventory management.
• Implement responsive design techniques for a mobile-first, user-friendly experience.
• Collaborate with the Team to align store features with business goals.
• Stay updated on Shopify, DSers, and AliExpress updates, ensuring stores remain compliant and functional.

We need someone with:
• Proven experience building and managing Shopify stores, specifically for dropshipping.
• Strong proficiency with Shopify platform features and themes.
• Hands-on experience with DSers and AliExpress integrations.
• Ability to research and source trending products that perform well in the dropshipping space.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation and a seamless user experience.
• Understanding of the dropshipping business model, including product sourcing, pricing strategies, and fulfillment processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects at once.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Shopify Plus.
• Knowledge of graphic design for product images and store banners.

Tools You’ll Use:
• Shopify, DSers, AliExpress
• Slack (for team communication)
• ClickUp (for task management and project communication)

The Details:
• Contract Role: Per store rate, based on experience.
• Remote Position: Fully remote with flexible hours, except for a two business-day turnaround expected on store builds.
• Initial Trial: The first project will be a paid trial Shopify store build at your standard rate to assess fit and expertise.

Success Metrics:
• Timely delivery: Ability to deliver store builds within the expected two-day turnaround.
• Store performance: High-performing stores in terms of speed, SEO, and conversion rates.
• Client satisfaction: Positive feedback from clients and the Virtual Assistant overseeing the store-building process.
• Problem-solving: Quick and effective resolution of any technical issues.
• Product research and sourcing: Consistently identifying and curating trending products for each store.
