Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a talented Senior Web Developer to manage, maintain, and enhance our digital platforms, primarily using WordPress and Shopify.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites to meet project requirements.

Optimize website performance, including speed, security, and responsiveness.

Implement and troubleshoot plugins, themes, and third-party integrations.

Create custom Shopify Liquid and WordPress PHP solutions as needed.

Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure seamless UI/UX experiences.

Stay updated on the latest web development trends and technologies to enhance functionality.

Debug and resolve website issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and improvements to websites.

Contribute to the planning and execution of new features and functionalities.

Requirements:

Experience: At least 3-5 years of professional experience in WordPress and Shopify development.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Liquid.

Experience with API integrations and custom theme/plugin development.

Familiarity with MySQL databases and hosting configurations.

Tools and Platforms:

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Familiarity with tools like Elementor, WooCommerce, and Shopify Apps.

Problem-Solving: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical team members.

Work Ethic: Independent, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SEO optimization and analytics tools.

Familiarity with e-commerce payment gateways and logistics solutions.

Knowledge of impact investment or social enterprise industries.
