Role Overview:
As our senior video editor & production manager, you’ll lead the quality control process for videos created for social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining SOPs, training and guiding video editors, and ensuring every piece of content is clear, accurate, and aligned with our brand tone and standards.
This is a hands-on, leadership-oriented role for someone experienced in (Adobe Premiere Pro & CapCut Pro) who understands how to deliver fast, clean, and professional video edits at scale. A strong eye for detail, command of English, and ability to mentor others are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
-Own and execute video quality control (QC) for all social media content.
-Develop, maintain, and update SOPs, style guides, and editing checklists for internal and freelance editors.
-Provide clear, constructive feedback to editors on a consistent basis to uphold quality and improve efficiency.
-Train editors on Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects & CapCut Pro best practices, workflow consistency, and brand-aligned editing techniques.
-Review and refine subtitles, on-screen text, and visual pacing to meet high editorial and medical standards.
-Collaborate with medical writers, creative teams, and marketing to ensure visual content supports key messaging and patient clarity.
Monitor social video trends and platform requirements to ensure content remains fresh and optimized.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in video editing or post-production supervision, especially for talking head or educational content.
-Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, CapCut Pro, including knowledge of shortcuts, transitions, effects, and export settings.
-Strong command of English (written and spoken) – essential for subtitle and on-screen copy review.
-Demonstrated ability to train and mentor video editors, with experience giving structured, actionable feedback.
-Experience developing SOPs, style guides, or editing documentation for team use.
-Familiarity with vertical video formatting and short-form content best practices (Reels, Shorts, TikTok).
-Prior experience working in a mid-level role at a creative agency or fast-paced content team is a strong plus.
-Bonus: Experience in the medical, wellness, or health education space.
