JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Video Editor with extensive experience creating and editing Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) video ads for Facebook and TikTok. You will play a pivotal role in bringing our brand’s vision to life by creating compelling and engaging video content that resonates with our audience and drives conversions. You will collaborate closely with our creative team, including copywriters, graphic designers, and marketers, to produce high-quality ads that capture attention, showcase product features, and align with our brand’s identity.

Responsibilities:
Video Editing & Post-Production: Edit short-form videos for Facebook and TikTok ads, ensuring the final product is visually appealing, engaging, and optimized for each platform’s specifications.
Content Creation: Work with the marketing team to create original, on-brand video content that resonates with our target audience and communicates key product benefits and messages.
Ad Optimization: Continuously test and optimize video creatives based on performance data (CTR, conversion rates, engagement) to ensure maximum effectiveness.
Collaborative Development: Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize video ad strategies and campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals and brand identity.
Fast Turnaround: Handle multiple projects simultaneously with quick turnaround times, especially for A/B testing and seasonal ad content.
Storytelling: Develop compelling narratives and visually dynamic sequences that grab attention in the first few seconds, keeping the audience engaged through to the call to action.
Platform Expertise: Keep up-to-date with Facebook and TikTok trends, format updates, and best practices to ensure video ads are optimized for the best possible performance on both platforms.
Brand Consistency: Ensure all videos adhere to our brand’s tone, voice, and visual style, creating a cohesive and recognizable brand presence across all marketing channels.
Requirements:
Proven Experience: At least 5 years of experience in video editing, with a strong focus on DTC ads for platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.
Social Media Expertise: Deep understanding of what works on Facebook and TikTok, including knowledge of trends, format requirements, and ad best practices for both organic and paid content.
Advanced Editing Skills: Proficient in industry-standard video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.).
Strong Portfolio: A portfolio that showcases a range of compelling, high-performance social media video ads, particularly in the DTC or e-commerce space.
Creative Vision: Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a knack for understanding consumer behavior and crafting content that appeals to a target audience.
Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, with a keen eye for quality, consistency, and brand alignment.
Adaptability & Fast-Paced Work Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing requirements and tight deadlines.
Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
