We are a young, energetic, Award winning Cloud Technology Consulting firm in Sydney Australia and and we're seeking for a Senior Microsoft Technical Support. We have been operating in Sydney, Australia for more than 10 years and have a strong industry presence and are looking to work with someone with a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 to help us assist in developing and implementing projects or tasks. This role will be VARIED in tasks, spanning primarily technical execution and implementation of projects and tasks of our clients.


Job Overview:

The Senior Microsoft Technical Support will provide expert-level technical support and assistance to end-users. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues related to Microsoft products and services. This role requires strong leadership and mentorship skills for other consultants. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and a passion for technology are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to Microsoft products and services.
- Provide timely and effective solutions to end-users and internal IT staff.
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions for future reference.

Technical Expertise:
- Possess deep knowledge and expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Admin Centre, Entra ID, Windows OS, and Data Migration.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft product releases, updates, and best practices.

Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to end-users and internal IT staff.
- Communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides.
- Conduct Training sessions to share knowledge and best practices with team members and other departments.

Project Involvement:
- Participate in technical projects and initiatives as needed.
- Provide technical support and expertise to project teams.


Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in providing technical support for Microsoft products and services.
- Strong technical skills in Azure, Active Directory, Windows Server, Exchange, MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Windows OS.
- Knowledge and understanding of basic DNS & domain management using WHM and CPanel is advantageous. Knowledge of other DNS platforms and domain management systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.


Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, AZ-900)
-Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell)
-Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
*Having Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert MS-102 is a plus
