We are currently seeking a highly experienced, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Loan Processing/Loan Officer Manager to lead our team and drive operational excellence.

**Job Description:**

The Loan Processing/Loan Officer Manager will oversee the loan processing team and loan officers. This role requires the development of efficient workflows, adherence to regulatory requirements, and a steadfast commitment to outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the lending process, familiarity with capital providers, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional judgment, and a proven track record of improving systems and processes are essential.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage, mentor, and support a team of loan processors and loan officers.
- Oversee the entire loan life cycle, from application to closing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with capital providers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless loan processing.
- Build, review, and revise loan calculators to ensure they are accurate and compliant with lending requirements.
- Update loan calculators and post-closed loans accurately and promptly.
- Handle loan sales, including communication and coordination with private investors.
- Work closely with underwriters, title companies, and other third-party service providers to resolve any issues.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance loan operations.
- Review loan files for completeness and adherence to company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and report team performance metrics to upper management.
- Provide training on loan products, policies, and systems to ensure team proficiency.
- Manage relationships with private investors and assist with loan sales as needed.
- Hire and train loan processors and loan officers.
- Collaborate with capital providers such as Toorak Capital Partners, hard money lenders, and private lenders.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in loan processing, loan origination, or a related area.
- Proven experience working with capital providers.
- Strong understanding of building, managing, and fixing loan calculators.
- Demonstrated ability to enhance systems and processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
- In-depth understanding of the complete loan life cycle and compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of private lending products, including Fix and Flip, DSCR, Gap Funding, and Transactional Loans.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability in fast-paced situations.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), loan portals, and standard software (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
