Senior Developer

Amica Digital is a digital marketing agency based on the Gold Coast - Australia, working with clients worldwide. We are looking for a permanent, full-time Shopify, WordPress Web Developer to join our team.

You will be responsible for both mostly front-end development, including developing new sites, fixing problems on existing sites and supporting client marketing efforts with new landing page creation.

**Essential Requirements**
3+ years of experience in web development including developing ecommerce websites.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Liquid, jQuery, PHP, MySQL and JavaScript is a must.
Passionate about e-commerce, digital, technology and development.
Solid understanding of Shopify Liquid and Shopify API.
Experience working with Shopify & Shopify Upgrade to see actual infon convert psd/xd into a complete Shopify/WP Theme.
Know how to create custom Shopify Apps and WP Plugins - bonus, not essential
Can work alongside a team in the creation, maintenance, and updates of websites for clients across a variety of industries.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or XD - only for converting files to sites - no design work required
Experience with multiple CMS or eCommerce platforms including Wordpress, WooCommerce, Shopify a must.
Experience integrating third-party tools for tracking and automation (Google Analytics, Hotjar, VWO, agency-side tracking);
Able to produce efficient and clean code based on requirements.
Able to troubleshoot, debug, maintain, test and deploy web sites and applications.
Experience building ios and android apps - bonus, not essential

Need own computer and good internet.

**Minimum Qualifications**
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent background
Minimum three (3) years of programming experience preferably in an agency environment. Excellent online portfolio of work that showcases demonstrated web development expertise using multiple languages and platforms.

**Location & Work Hours**
Remote/Virtual - work from home
160 hours per month (full-time 40 hours / week)
Need to be available for work and contact during Australian hours

We Offer:
- Work From Home, Full-time & Long-Term
- 55k - 65k PHP a month (negotiable) depending on experience
- 10am-6pm AEST
- 13 month payment
