Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced digital content professional to lead our content strategy and community management initiatives. This role combines editorial expertise with community engagement, requiring both creative and analytical skills to drive our digital presence and audience engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Management (60%)
Editorial Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive content strategy aligned with business goals
- Create and maintain editorial guidelines and style guides
- Manage content calendar and publication schedules
- Monitor content performance and adjust strategies accordingly
Content Optimization
- Perform advanced content editing and proofreading
- Enhance content quality using AI tools (Quillbot, Grammarly, etc.)
- Implement SEO best practices using focus keyphrases
- Create compelling meta descriptions and titles
- Ensure content meets accessibility standards
- Develop internal linking strategy
- Verify and integrate authoritative external sources
Visual Content Management
- Direct visual content strategy using Canva and other design tools
- Ensure brand consistency across all visual elements
- Optimize images for web performance and accessibility
- Create and maintain image guidelines including alt text standards
Community Management & Engagement (40%)
Social Media Leadership
- Develop and implement social media strategy across platforms
- Lead community engagement initiatives
- Monitor and respond to community interactions
- Identify and leverage trending topics
- Create and maintain crisis communication protocols
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze community metrics
- Generate regular performance reports
- Identify growth opportunities
- Measure content effectiveness
- Provide data-driven recommendations
