Job duty: For this job as an Account Manager, you will be the main person to oversee the bookkeepers' work and client accounts, collect and analyze financial statements and manage client communication.
Job responsibilities:
Act as a point of contact for clients and bookkeeper/s, addressing questions and maintaining professional communication
Assist in conducting periodic reviews of financial transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies
Implement quality control measures to review financial records for accuracy and completeness
Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all necessary adjustments are made for accurate financial reporting
Monitor and verify that all bookkeeping activities meet the relevant accounting standards and regulations
Supervise and support our junior Bookkeeper
Support bookkeeper training and provide constructive feedback
Help us develop processes and systems
Attend meetings with clients and team via Zoom and phone
Analyze client financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and increased profitability
Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to clients, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends
Identify inefficiencies in bookkeeping processes and propose and implement solutions
Streamline workflows to optimize efficiency and accuracy in bookkeeping operations
Keep detailed and organized records of client interactions, agreements, and project milestones
Requirements:
3+ years of bookkeeping experience in QuickBooks Online and managing client accounts
Experience guiding others with a focus on constructive feedback and positive reinforcement
Clear understanding of accounting principals
QuickBooks Online Certification required. Even better, if you have Advanced Certification
Clear understanding of accounting principals and practices
No plans to start your own bookkeeping business
A computer with a second monitor & stable and secure internet connection
Technologically savvy, with a ability to learn new software quickly
Quiet workspace, suitable for client/tea
Ability to make decisions and solve problems
Excellent attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills
