Title: Senior Auditor

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in conducting financial statement audits, assessing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Execution & Financial Analysis:
? Assist in performing financial statement audits, including planning, testing, and reporting.
? Analyze financial statements and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
? Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures to evaluate financial statements and transactions.
? Ensure audits are completed efficiently, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
? Communicate status of engagement regularly to audit team.
? Train and supervise associates.

Internal Controls & Compliance:
? Evaluate internal controls and identify potential risks or inefficiencies.
? Assist in ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
? Support the audit team in preparing audit documentation and workpapers.

Reporting &; Client Communication:
? Regularly communicate open items on engagements to clients.
Assist onshore manager in completion of reporting package including financial statements and communication letters.

Professional Development &; Process Improvement:
? Stay updated on accounting and auditing standards, industry regulations, and best practices.
? Participate in training and mentorship programs to enhance technical skills.

Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
? At least 2-3 years of auditing experience with a public accounting firm.
? Experience in audits of real estate is preferred.
? Proficiency in CCH Pro Systems is preferred.
? Strong understanding of US GAAP, auditing principles, and financial reporting.
? Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
? Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
? CPA license preferred.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit software.
