Senior Accountants

BM &Y Chartered Accountants & Business Advisor is a Business Advisory Firm that has been operating for over 40 years. We are based in Western Australia. We are a professional and friendly team, providing dedicated service to our clients who operate in a variety of industries throughout Australia.

We are seeking several experienced Senior Accountants. You will operate remotely from your home and join our team and be supported with experienced professionals and systems.

Essential Skills and Experience required for the role:

• A minimum of five years full time experience in Australian taxation and business services, ideally you will have completed CA or CPA Program or have equivalent qualifications.
• A high level of experience and understanding with the preparation of financial accounts for all entity types including Self-Managed Superannuation funds, preparation of income tax returns, FBT returns and activity statements.
• Strong Australian taxation knowledge with ability to apply key tax concepts and articulate accordingly.
• Excellent communication skills both personally and in writing as this role may involve direct client contact and communication.
• Has the ability to work well unsupervised, be self-motivated and organised.
• Excellent computer literacy is essential in the use of BGL360, MYOB, XERO, XPM, FYI and cloud base systems.
• Big 4 experience preferred.
