Seeking a Line Art Illustrator for Custom Embosser Designs

We are looking for a talented graphic designer/illustrator with experience in line art and vector design to create custom embosser designs based on customer-uploaded images and text.

This will be an ongoing project where customers submit images, logos, or text, and we need a designer to convert them into high-quality, minimal, black-and-white vector designs suitable for embossing.

Responsibilities:
- Convert customer-uploaded images and text into clean, professional line art designs
- Ensure designs meet engraving/embossing standards (proper line thickness, high contrast, no excessive detail)
- Modify images as needed (removing backgrounds, simplifying details, adjusting for clarity)
- Provide designs in SVG/PNG/PDF format
- Deliver design proofs for customer approval and make minor revisions if requested
- Work with our team via Upwork or email for project tracking

Requirements:
- Experience in line art, engraving, or stamp-style illustration
- Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar vector software
- Ability to simplify detailed images while retaining clarity
- Fast turnaround time (ideally 24-48 hours per design for first draft)
- Strong attention to detail—ensuring designs look clean, crisp, and balanced
- Experience with custom design approvals (bonus if you’ve worked with Shopify stores or product personalization)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience creating custom logos, seals, or engraved artwork, or other similar work
- Background in print design, stamp-making, or laser engraving
- Understanding of how embossers and engraving processes affect design choices
