Salesforce Developer

Stratus Financial, LLC is looking for an experienced developer who specializes in Salesforce, Zapier, API integration, and Excel (or other reporting software). As a developer, you will play a crucial role in installing, customizing, and supporting our Salesforce integration, Zapier connections, as well as custom programming with API integration.

This position will be responsible for:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate them into technical solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• Design and develop custom Salesforce applications, components, and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
• Implement and configure Zapier integrations to connect Salesforce with external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and automation.
• Build and maintain data structures, workflows, and business rules to support user requirements and enhance system functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, perform system testing, and ensure quality deliverables.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the end-users, assisting with configuration and user support as needed.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce and Zapier best practices, industry trends, and new features, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.

Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with hands-on experience in Zapier integration.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Zapier integrations to connect Salesforce with external systems.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and web technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, are a plus.

Work Hours:
The position offers flexibility, initially starting as a part-time role but with the potential to transition into a full-time position based on the needs of the job.
