Location: Remote

Company Overview:
We are a growing team based in Vancouver, BC, Canada, seeking dedicated professionals to work remotely. This role will assist sales team functions and customer service, focusing on outbound sales and lead generation in the custom printing and packaging industry aiming to increase growth targets. You will be working collaboratively with CPG brands, food processing companies, retail product businesses, and medical product manufacturers that require custom packaging solutions.


Scope of the job:

- Proactive Client Outreach: Initiate contact with potential clients through calls and emails to introduce our products and services. Tailor messages to address the specific needs of the target audience and convey the value of VPP’s packaging solutions.
- Phone calls: Execute cold calling strategies to contact potential leads, quickly assessing their interest and need for packaging services. To listen attentively to potential customers’ needs and creatively apply packaging knowledge to packaging solutions, negotiate effectively and ensure a positive experience to convert to successful leads.
- Sales Lead Generation: Research target markets and consumer trends to build outreach lists and develop sales leads. Client - Relationship Management: Build rapport with prospects and clients through engaging communication, maintaining professional relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Sales Support: Work collaboratively with the sales team to develop strategies for sales pitches, draft quotes (RFQs), and use sales strategies and techniques to follow up with leads and inquiries. Identify opportunities to close or advance the sales process.
- Market Research: Conduct strategic research on market trends, competitors, and potential opportunities to improve sales strategies.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using our CRM tool (ZOHO), ensuring an organized and efficient workflow.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sales metrics, contributing to the continuous improvement of sales processes.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a sales role, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a clear and professional phone presence.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems (preferably ZOHO).
- Sales Acumen: Familiarity with the sales cycle, lead generation techniques, and a strong understanding of sales strategies.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage complex priorities with minimal supervision.

Hours and compensation:
9am-5pm PST Monday to Friday, excluding Canadian weekends and BC/Stat Holidays.
Training will be provided.
After completing one year of service with us, team members become entitled to compensation for Canadian BC Statutory holidays at their current hourly rate.
Moreover, team members gain a performance-based year-end bonus as an extra incentive.
