We are seeking a highly skilled SEO Specialist to join our team, specifically focused on optimizing our Shopify stores. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing SEO best practices, conducting in-depth keyword research, and improving our website’s overall search engine visibility. Key Responsibilities
Optimize Shopify Stores for SEO: Implement on-page and technical SEO strategies tailored to Shopify to improve rankings and increase organic traffic.
Keyword Research & Analysis: Perform in-depth keyword research to identify high-converting, relevant keywords, and integrate them into product descriptions, blog content, and metadata.
Technical SEO Audits: Conduct regular SEO audits of our Shopify stores, identifying and fixing issues related to crawlability, indexing, page speed, and mobile performance.
Content Strategy & Optimization: Work with the content team to develop optimized content strategies, including blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions.
Backlink & Off-Page SEO: Create and execute a link-building strategy to improve domain authority and generate high-quality backlinks.
Tracking & Reporting: Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools. Provide regular reports on KPIs such as organic traffic, rankings, and conversion rates.
Competitor Analysis: Stay on top of industry trends and perform competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience with Shopify SEO, with a portfolio or case studies showing success in improving organic rankings and driving traffic.
Strong understanding of SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and others.
Experience with technical SEO aspects such as page speed optimization, structured data, and schema markup.
Proficient in keyword research, on-page, and off-page SEO strategies.
Ability to conduct technical audits and provide actionable recommendations for improving performance.
Excellent understanding of e-commerce, CRO (conversion rate optimization), and how SEO integrates with overall marketing strategies.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
[1]+ years of experience in SEO (preferably with a focus on Shopify/e-commerce).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the e-commerce industry.
Familiarity with other marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Google Ads) is a plus.
Knowledge of Local SEO strategies (if applicable to your business).
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as it pertains to SEO.
