JOB OVERVIEW

For our SEO and Google Ads Manager position, the ideal candidate would be someone with a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and a track record of optimizing campaigns for search engines and paid advertising.

This is a fractional/part-time position, with the workload front loaded as the campaigns are established. Weekly meetings will assess progress.

Key Performance Outcomes:

1. Increase in Organic Traffic:
Goal: steady, measurable increase in organic traffic over the next 6 months.
Explanation: This measures the effectiveness of SEO strategies in driving more visitors from search engines.

2. Improvement in Keyword Rankings:
Goal: Achieve top 3 rankings for 40-50% of targeted keywords within 6 months.
Explanation: Higher rankings for targeted keywords reflect improved visibility and relevance, a primary objective in SEO.

3. Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) for Google Ads:
Goal: 200% ROAS within 6 months.
Explanation: This percentage measures the profitability of paid ad campaigns, showing revenue generated for each dollar spent on Google Ads.

Key Responsibilities:

* SEO Management: Perform keyword research, optimize website content, and oversee link-building strategies to enhance organic search rankings.

* Google Ads Campaigns: Develop, implement, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (search, display, shopping, etc.) to improve performance, CTR, and conversions while managing ad spend.

* Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze site and campaign performance data to create reports, identify trends, and make data-backed recommendations for improvement.

* A/B Testing & Conversion Optimization: Test ad copy, landing pages, and other elements to maximize conversions and minimize bounce rates.

* Competitive Analysis: Regularly assess competitors' digital strategies and adjust accordingly to stay competitive in search engine results.

Qualifications:

- Experience with SEO & SEM: Deep knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, along with hands-on experience managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns.
- Certification: Google Ads and Analytics certifications are beneficial, as well as knowledge of other PPC platforms (e.g., Bing Ads).
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz to assess campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and understanding of website architecture for technical SEO. Familiarity with platforms like Bubble.io, WordPress, and Stripe.
- Content Strategy Insight: Understanding of keyword research, content strategy, and how to optimize content for both SEO and user engagement.
- English Language Skills: Must have excellent English speaking and writing skills.
- Internet Connection: Must have reliable, high speed internet connection.
- Own Device: Laptop or PC is a must, no mobile phones.
- Graveyard Shift: Experienced working on graveyard shift. Weekly meetings and periodic check-ins on progress will be made during business hours in pacific stand time (PST)

Job Expectations: Ability to work independently and effectively with less supervision.
