SEO Specialist for Dental Clinic (WordPress | Local SEO | Ongoing Work)

About Us:
We are a family-owned dental clinic in Victoria, Australia looking for an experienced SEO specialist to improve our website’s visibility and increase organic traffic. Our website is built on WordPress, and we need someone skilled in local SEO, content optimization, and technical SEO to help us attract more patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- WordPress SEO Optimization: Improve on-page SEO, including metadata, internal linking, and image optimization.
- Local SEO & Google My Business (GMB): Optimize our GMB listing, build local citations, and improve local rankings.
- Keyword Research & Content Strategy: Identify high-value keywords for dental services and optimize website content accordingly.
- Technical SEO & Performance Optimization: Improve website speed, mobile responsiveness, structured data, and schema markup.
- Backlink Building: Acquire high-quality, industry-relevant backlinks to boost domain authority.
- SEO Reporting & Analysis: Track and report rankings, traffic, and conversion improvements using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).

Requirements:
- Proven SEO experience with WordPress websites (Yoast SEO, Rank Math, or similar plugins).
- Strong knowledge of Google ranking factors, search algorithms, and local SEO best practices.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent grammar for content recommendations.
- Experience optimizing Google My Business and local directories.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO auditing tools.
- Ability to provide clear, concise reports on SEO performance and strategies.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SEO in healthcare/dental industries.
- Knowledge of technical SEO (site speed optimization, structured data, schema markup).
- Strong content strategy skills to improve engagement and lead generation.
