Role Overview:
As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective SEO strategies to increase our organic search visibility, drive web traffic, and improve search engine rankings. You will work closely with content, development, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into all digital assets and content initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and SEO audits to inform strategy.
Develop on-page SEO strategies, including optimizing titles, meta descriptions, headers, images, and content.
Build and implement backlink strategies to improve domain authority and rankings.
Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly content that aligns with search intent.
Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, etc.
Continuously optimize website performance, user experience, and conversion rates.
Stay current with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
Work with developers to ensure technical SEO elements (site speed, mobile responsiveness, crawlability, etc.) are in place.
Analyze competitors and recommend strategies to outperform them.
Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics, making data-driven adjustments to strategies.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, algorithms, and ranking factors.
Experience with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, etc.).
Strong understanding of on-page and off-page optimization techniques.
Ability to conduct technical SEO audits and implement improvements.
Experience with keyword research, competitive analysis, and backlink building.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with eCommerce SEO or in a specific industry (e.g., healthcare, tech, etc.).
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
Knowledge of content management systems (CMS), particularly WordPress.
Experience with paid search (PPC) and other digital marketing channels.
