We are a growing digital marketing agency that helps businesses improve their search engine rankings and online visibility through ethical, data-driven SEO strategies.

We are looking for an experienced Advanced SEO Specialist to join our team as a contractor. This position offers steady work, reliable income, and long-term collaboration with a diverse range of clients.

Each SEO specialist will typically work with 1-2 clients at a time, with an expected workload of 16-20 hours per client per week. Workload may increase based on performance and business needs.

Strict White Hat SEO Policy
We only use White Hat SEO practices and expect all team members to adhere to Google’s best practices and ethical SEO standards.

Absolutely no Gray Hat or Black Hat SEO tactics, including:

Keyword stuffing
Spammy backlinks or paid link schemes
Cloaking, hidden text, or deceptive redirects
Private Blog Networks (PBNs)
AI-generated or low-quality spun content
Violation of these policies will result in immediate termination.

Key Responsibilities & Expected Timelines
1. Initial SEO Audit & Setup for New Clients (Completed within the first 7-10 days)
Each new client will require a comprehensive SEO audit and action plan before ongoing work begins.
Tasks include:

Technical SEO Audit (site health, speed, mobile usability, indexation issues)
On-Page SEO Audit & Fixes (title tags, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking)
Off-Page SEO Analysis (backlink audit, disavowing toxic links, identifying opportunities)
Keyword Research & Strategy (finding primary/secondary keywords, mapping to pages)
Local SEO Optimization (if applicable) (Google My Business setup, local citations, review management)
Initial SEO Strategy Report (roadmap for first 3-6 months)
Audit reports and initial optimizations should be completed within 7-10 days after onboarding.

2. Ongoing Weekly SEO Tasks
After the initial audit, you will perform weekly SEO tasks to improve rankings and drive traffic.

Technical SEO Maintenance (Ongoing, Immediate Fixes as Needed)
Fix crawl errors, broken links, and indexation issues
Improve page speed and Core Web Vitals performance
Ensure mobile-friendliness and HTTPS security compliance
On-Page SEO Optimization (Weekly, as new content is published)
Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and alt text
Improve content structure for better readability and keyword targeting
Internal linking enhancements for better site navigation
Content SEO & Strategy Support (Bi-Weekly or Monthly)
Conduct topic research and suggest high-ranking blog/article ideas
Provide SEO guidelines for content writers
Refresh older content for improved rankings
Backlink & Off-Page SEO Work (Ongoing, Minimum Monthly Targets per Client)
Secure 8-12 high-quality backlinks per month (2-3 per week)
Publish 2-4 guest posts or niche edits per month
Submit 10-15 business citations/local directories per month (if applicable for local SEO clients)
Gain 5-10 social or brand mentions per month (if applicable)
Ensure acquired backlinks are natural, relevant, and from reputable websites
Only White Hat link-building techniques are allowed. Any spammy, low-quality, PBN, or black hat backlinks will result in immediate termination.

SEO Performance Tracking & Reporting (Weekly, Report Due Every Monday)
Track keyword rankings and search visibility
Analyze traffic trends using Google Analytics & Search Console
Provide a summary of technical fixes, optimizations, and improvements
List next week’s action plan
All weekly reports are due every Monday, detailing completed tasks and progress.

Required SEO Tools & Platforms
Must be proficient in at least two of the following tools (SEMRush preferred):

SEMRush (Preferred)
Ahrefs
Moz
Screaming Frog
Google Search Console
Google Analytics
Team Communication & Reporting: Email and WhatsApp

Project & Workflow Management: Coda.io
Weekly Reports: Google Sheets / Google Docs
Time Tracking: Clockify, Toggl, Time Doctor, or similar
Time Tracking & Work Reporting Requirements
Track your logged hours and tasks using a time-tracking system (Clockify, Toggl, Time Doctor, etc.)
Provide a weekly summary of completed work along with the SEO report
Log deliverables and update progress in Coda.io
You must include in your application how you track your time and the type of weekly reports you provide.

Compensation & Performance-Based Raises
Starting at $6 per hour (?330 per hour), with opportunities for performance-based increases.

Monthly performance incentives may allow specialists to earn up to $8/hr based on results.
Pay increases must be maintained for three consecutive months to become permanent.
Underperformance may result in a temporary rate decrease or termination if issues persist.
Raises & Adjustments:
Pay may increase monthly for those who consistently exceed expectations.
Performance reviews occur every 3 months, where raises become permanent based on consistent performance.
Failure to meet deliverables may result in a warning, rate adjustment, or termination.
Contract & Compliance
Before starting work, you must be willing to sign necessary contracts, including:

Independent Contractor Agreement
Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Compliance Agreement for SEO Best Practices
Refusal to follow ethical SEO standards will lead to contract termination.

Trial Period
New hires may be required to complete a 2-4 week paid trial to assess their performance, reporting quality, and SEO execution before being offered long-term work.
