Job Description:

As our SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for improving our search engine rankings. To do so, you will develop and execute strategies to optimize our Shopify stores (www.hiendaccents.com and www.paseoroad.com), including content strategy, link building, keyword strategy, and website optimization.

- Search for opportunities to optimize website architecture, content, linking, and other factors in the interest of improving SEO positions for target keywords
- Create and execute backlink building strategy with relevant, on-brand publications, blogs, and other partners
- Write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions to improve website search results
- Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, and identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content marketing
- Research and implement SEO strategies
- Keep up with changes in the SEO landscape to make sure we’re always staying on top of changes
- Prepare periodic presentations to present results

We’re excited about you because you have...

- Experience with ahrefs, Shopify stores, and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Deep knowledge of SEO practices and track record of improving results for a consumer brand
- Outstanding ability to think creatively, and strategically, and identify and resolve problems
- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills; self-motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong English skills (ability to perform backlink outreach yourself)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with our US team via email, Slack, Zoom, and phone
- Bachelor’s Degree
