JOB OVERVIEW

A new opportunity has become available for an experienced SEO manager to join Skayl, a fast-growing remote working UK-based digital marketing agency working with clients in the UK & USA.

As SEO Manager, you will join Skayl with a minimum of 3 years of search engine optimisation experience - gained in-house, freelance or from another agency. Your role will be planning strategy and implementing SEO activity for our flagship e-commerce brands. You will have support of the wider team which includes our Performance Marketing Director and Account Managers to ensure you are able to achieve our clients goals.

Role specification:

- Lead the development and execution of organic search strategies to improve rankings, traffic and conversions on our client's websites.
- Stay current with industry trends and leverage best-in-class tools and software.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Drive innovation through testing new strategies and closely collaborating with our paid media teams.
- Oversee the performance of SEO campaigns and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Manage hands-on execution of SEO tasks and delegate sub-tasks within the team.
- Regularly conduct detailed data analyses, audits, and optimise campaigns based on findings.
- Report key metrics and campaign performance to the Performance Marketing Director and clients.

Required:

- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in SEO – experienced in both execution and strategy
- Strong Communication skills - written and verbal
- Attention to detail and commitment to performance optimisation
- Analysis of complex marketing and web data
- Forecasting and planning ability
- Organised yet flexible, able to prioritise own and others’ workload to meet agreed deadlines
- Exceptional technical SEO skills, including but not limited to, how to manage and influence website health, Core Web Vitals, hreflang tag usage, website speed, and structured data.
- A strong understanding of Content Marketing and PPC, and how they interact with and complement SEO.
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
- Advanced knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Hotjar or equivalents.
