SEO Manager (Local SEO) – City Pages Expansion

Hellamaid, one of Canada’s top-rated cleaning services, is expanding into the U.S., and we need a high-level SEO expert to lead our Local SEO efforts.

We need someone who can build, optimize, and rank city pages (e.g., Houston, Austin, San Antonio) while securing high-quality local backlinks to dominate local search results.

That being said, if you are more of a LINK BUILDER or a CONTENT WRITER, we still welcome your application. An SEO generalist is preferred, but we understand it's hard to find 1 with both on-page and off-page SEO skills. Most importantly, we seek someone who knows the basics of SEO and is willing to learn.

If you have a proven track record in Local SEO, know how to get local backlinks, and can take initiative without hand-holding, this is your chance to own an SEO strategy that directly impacts a growing brand.

What You’ll Do:

1. Build & Optimize High-Performing City Pages
- Own the SEO for our U.S. expansion, optimizing city-specific pages for search and conversions.
- Craft locally optimized content that integrates search intent, geo-relevance, and Hellamaid’s value propositions.
- Implement smart interlinking strategies to boost site authority and rankings.
- Optimize all on-page elements (meta titles, headers, schema, image alt text, internal linking, etc.).
- Use Elementor (optional) – We typically build the pages, but if you can contribute, that’s a plus.

2. Secure High-Quality Local Backlinks
- Find and acquire high-authority local links from business directories, local blogs, partnerships, and niche sites.
- Execute creative link-building strategies that comply with Google’s guidelines.
- Get Hellamaid featured in local news, business listings, and community websites.

3. Conduct Deep SEO Research & Execution
- Perform in-depth keyword research to uncover the best local ranking opportunities.
- Analyze competitors’ city pages and reverse-engineer what’s working for them.
- Continuously improve pages based on data-driven insights.

4. Track, Measure & Optimize for Growth
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions using Ahrefs, GA4, and Google Search Console.
- Identify opportunities for quick wins and long-term improvements.
- A/B test and refine strategies to maximize organic performance.

5. Collaborate & Innovate
- Work directly with the CEO, designer, and content team to execute a winning Local SEO strategy.
- Stay ahead of SEO trends and local algorithm updates to keep Hellamaid competitive.
- Bring fresh ideas to the table to continuously elevate our approach.
