We are looking for an experienced Content Writer with expertise in the trade and home services industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching industry-specific topics, identifying relevant keywords, creating blog content, and optimizing articles for SEO. You will also be responsible for uploading content to WordPress and ensuring proper on-page optimization.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough research on the trade and home services industry, including market trends and audience needs.
Identify high-intent keywords and topics based on search trends and business objectives.
Generate blog post ideas that align with SEO strategies and target local service areas.
Write high-quality, engaging, and informative blog posts tailored to each trade niche.
Optimize content for SEO (meta titles, descriptions, internal linking, headers, and keyword placement).
Upload and format blog content on WordPress, ensuring proper tagging and categorization.
Implement on-page SEO best practices, including image optimization and schema markup.
Work closely with the digital marketing team to ensure content aligns with campaign goals.
Continuously monitor content performance and suggest improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a content writer, preferably in the trade or home services industry (plumbing, roofing, HVAC, electrical, etc.).
Strong SEO knowledge, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and WordPress best practices.
Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer SEO, or Google Keyword Planner.
Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content that resonates with local audiences.
Strong research skills and ability to adapt content for different service industries.
Experience with WordPress (blog posting, formatting, media uploads, and basic SEO plugins like Rank Math or Yoast).
Basic understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console is a plus.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience writing for local SEO and location-based service businesses.
Understanding of Google E-E-A-T guidelines (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness).
Background in copywriting, journalism, or digital marketing.
