SEO Content Writer

Job description:
Black Moose Marketing Agency is searching for an experienced, detail-oriented SEO Content Writer to join our team and help us create high-quality content that ranks and drives results for our clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to craft informative and engaging articles that provide value to our target audiences and consistently achieve high SERP rankings. A solid knowledge of core SEO principles is essential, as is the ability to seamlessly integrate keywords and keyword variations into your content.

You will conduct in-depth research on diverse topics to ensure your articles are accurate, align with readers’ search intent, and reflect the high standards of Black Moose Marketing. As part of our content team, you’ll collaborate with editors, implement feedback, and ensure your articles meet our guidelines.

Beyond applying SEO best practices, you’ll follow our internal linking strategy and identify additional opportunities to connect content across the website. This involves contextually incorporating mandatory internal links and enhancing the content ecosystem with thoughtful cross-references.

To succeed in this role, you must have a firm command of English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style, paired with an in-depth knowledge of modern SEO practices.

Our mission is to produce high-quality content that ranks on Google, attracts organic traffic, and converts readers into loyal customers for our clients.

Responsibilities
Create high-quality, SEO-optimized content for Black Moose Marketing Agency and client websites.
Consistently deliver 2000 words of content per day that is accurate, engaging, and error-free.
Incorporate feedback and suggestions from our SEO team into your work.
Follow internal linking guidelines and incorporate mandatory internal links from content briefs.
Collaborate with editors to refine content quality.
Attend weekly teaUpgrade to see actual infoetings and participate in brainstorming sessions.

Requirements
2+ years of experience with SEO and content writing.
Familiarity with tools like SEMrush and other keyword research platforms.
A portfolio showcasing your best SEO content.
Excellent grasp of English grammar, punctuation, and style.
In-depth knowledge of SEO principles (keywords, keyword variations, internal linking, etc.) and how to apply them to written content.

Type: Full-time
Pay in CANADIAN DOLLARS: $3.00–$8.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
