We are looking for a highly skilled SEO & Content Marketing Specialist to drive organic traffic, boost rankings, and establish our firm as the go-to tax relief service in the U.S.

Job Overview

We are hiring a full-time SEO & Content Marketing Specialist to develop and execute a high-impact SEO strategy that increases our online presence. The ideal candidate will have expertise in local SEO, technical SEO, content marketing, and backlink building to drive leads and sales. If you have a proven track record of ranking websites on Google, increasing organic traffic, and executing high-converting content marketing strategies, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

1. SEO Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy to increase rankings locally (Houston), regionally (Texas), and nationally (USA).

Optimize website for Google My Business (GMB) and local SEO strategies to improve rankings in location-based searches.

Perform keyword research using SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner to identify the best opportunities for rankings.

Conduct on-page SEO optimizations (meta titles, descriptions, schema markup, internal linking, etc.).

Execute off-page SEO and link-building strategies to increase domain authority.

Conduct regular SEO audits and fix technical SEO issues (site speed, indexation, mobile-friendliness, etc.).

Implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to drive leads from organic traffic.

2. Content Marketing & Blogging

Develop a content calendar for blog posts, service pages, and SEO-friendly website updates.

Write and optimize long-form content (3,000-5,000 words) targeting tax relief, IRS settlements, back taxes, small business tax issues, and more.

Ensure all content is SEO-optimized with targeted keywords, readability improvements, and structured formatting (H1s, H2s, bullet points, etc.).

Optimize old blog posts and pages for better rankings and organic traffic.

Research competitor content and keywords to create high-ranking, engaging content.

3. Local SEO & Google My Business (GMB) Optimization

Manage and optimize our Google My Business (GMB) profiles for 3 locations.

Optimize NAP consistency (Name, Address, Phone Number) across citations and local directories.

Monitor GMB insights and reviews, ensuring engagement with customers.

Create local SEO landing pages targeting specific service areas.

4. Backlink & Authority Building

Implement white-hat link-building strategies (guest posts, HARO, business listings, press releases, etc.).

Research and acquire high-authority backlinks from tax/legal/financial websites.

Develop relationships with industry bloggers for content collaborations and guest posting.

5. Performance Tracking & Reporting

Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to track rankings and traffic.

Provide monthly SEO reports showing improvements in traffic, rankings, and lead generation.

Adjust strategies based on analytics data to improve performance.

Key Qualifications

? Minimum 3 years of SEO experience (preferably in finance, tax, or legal industries).? Proven ability to rank websites on Google (Local, Regional & National).? Strong knowledge of SEO tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog).? Excellent content writing & copywriting skills with proper keyword usage and formatting.? Experience managing Google My Business & Local SEO.? Proficiency in WordPress SEO & Schema Markup.? Link-building & outreach experience (guest posting, press releases, HARO, citations).? Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website speed optimization (preferred but not required).? Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.? Strong communication skills (English proficiency required).
