About the Role
As the Rostering Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring exemplary support services for our participants while adhering to the NDIS practice standards and guidelines. This position involves guiding, supporting, and motivating a team of support workers, team leaders, and complex care workers to perform at their best.
You will also manage the coordination of rosters to ensure essential services are covered, stepping in to provide hands-on support when needed. Additionally, the role includes providing emergency support out of office hours and on weekends as part of a shared roster.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the HR team with recruitment, induction, and training of support staff.
* Plan, manage, and evaluate various aspects of disability supports, such as social services, domestic assistance, and transport.
* Ensure best practice standards are met by all staff.
* Provide guidance and supervision to support staff and team leaders.
* Solve operational challenges independently or with the support of HR, therapists, and service managers.
* Maintain skills to provide direct support and fill shifts when required.
* Provide emergency support out of office hours and weekends.
Key Requirements:
• Previous experience in a rostering or similar role is desirable.
• Genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer operations, including rostering platforms and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and within a team.
• Knowledge of privacy and confidentiality principles.
Shiftcare experience is highly desirable.
