Job Description:

As a Cost Estimator at Quality Service and Repair, you will play a crucial role in accurately assessing project costs for various small residential maintenance services. You will be responsible for creating detailed estimates for labor and materials, ensuring that our clients receive fair and competitive pricing for their home maintenance needs. This position involves collaboration with our team of professionals to provide high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Utilize your expertise in residential maintenance to establish pricing standards for labor hours and materials for a wide range of projects, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance.
Collaborate closely with project managers to determine the scope of work required for each project.
Validate solutions and approaches for assigned work orders, ensuring they align with project descriptions and client expectations.
Negotiate pricing with suppliers and vendors based on your knowledge of industry Upgrade to see actual infovelop and maintain detailed maintenance estimating sheets and guidelines.
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates based on project requirements.
Work closely with the team to produce multiple estimates daily, ensuring quality-controlled, real-time bids.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the residential maintenance, construction, or estimating industry. (Preferred)
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Solid understanding of maintenance practices, labor costs, and materials.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in residential settings.
Exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
