Remote Video Editor for Growing Candy Brand

Are you a creative and skilled video editor with a passion for producing engaging content? Sugar Crunch, a vibrant and innovative candy brand, is looking for a talented remote video editor to join our team! If you have a knack for storytelling through video and a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Sort through 2-4 hours of recorded content per week and produce 21 short-form videos and 1 long-form video.
- Ensure each video includes a strong hook at the beginning and incorporates captions.
- Edit and produce high-quality videos that align with our brand's playful and energetic aesthetic.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging content for our social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ensure all video content meets our quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Incorporate motion graphics and animations to enhance video content.
- Maintain an organized archive of video assets.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Capcut, or similar.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through video.
- Familiarity with social media trends and best practices for video content.
- Good understanding of the English language and American culture.

Preferred Experience:
- Experience editing content for social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).
- Ability to create engaging short-form content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Understanding of color grading and sound design to enhance video quality.

Working Hours and Flexibility:

- Availability for regular check-ins and collaboration meetings (at least once a week).
