A Social Media / Video creator, often referred to as a content creator, is responsible for producing engaging and compelling video content for various platforms, such as social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media / Video creator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video, a keen eye for detail, and the technical skills to produce high-quality content. As a Social Media / Video creator, you will be responsible for planning, editing, and delivering video projects that align with our brand and engage our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
• Conceptualize and develop video content ideas that align with marketing goals and brand identity.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
Production:
• Write scripts or create storyboards for video projects.
• Edit raw footage into polished videos using editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Add graphics, animations, music, sound effects, and other enhancements to improve the final product.
• Ensure videos are optimized for various platforms and formats, including social media, websites, and advertisements.
Quality Control:
• Review and revise content based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style.
Distribution:
• Upload and manage video content on various platforms (YouTube, Instagram,
• Monitor video performance and engagement metrics to inform future content strategies.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a video creator, or similar role.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
• Creative thinking and storytelling abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of SEO and social media best practices for video content is a plus.
• A portfolio of previous video work is required for consideration.
