Our prominent personal injury law firm based on the US East Coast seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Remote Records Analyst to manage and maintain accurate, timely, and complete client medical records and billing documentation.
Responsibilities:
Obtain, review, and update medical records and bills promptly once clients conclude treatment with healthcare providers.
Maintain meticulous records to ensure client files reflect the most current medical documentation.
Proactively follow up with healthcare providers to secure necessary documentation.
Identify when client treatments have concluded and promptly retrieve all relevant medical documents.
Ensure compliance with firm protocols regarding client confidentiality and data protection.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in healthcare as a physician, nurse, medical records professional, or equivalent position within a personal injury law firm.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
Self-motivated and able to effectively work independently in a remote setting.
Access to reliable, high-speed internet essential.
Private workspace free of distractions, suitable for confidential phone conversations and secure storage of sensitive information.
Must have a secure and private computer setup inaccessible to others.
