We are a leading criminal defence law firm based in Queensland, Australia. We are committed to providing exceptional legal representation to our clients while maintaining a streamlined and efficient workflow. To support our growing caseload, we’re looking for a highly skilled Remote Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our team.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be responsible for a range of essential legal support tasks, including:
?? Managing client files and ensuring documentation is up to date
?? Responding to client inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
?? Drafting legal documents and correspondence
?? Conducting legal research to assist with case preparation
?? Opening files and supporting the new client onboarding process
?? Liaising with third parties, including police, expert witnesses, and court staff

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you should have:
? Prior experience working in a law firm and/or legal education
? Advanced English skills, both written and spoken
? A proactive, self-reliant work ethic – we need someone who takes initiative
? Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
? Prior experience with Leap Legal and/or Clio Manage (a bonus, but not required)
