What We’re Looking For:
We need an experienced junior to mid-level full-time Paid PPC Google Ads Specialist! This is a remote (work-from-home) position. We are searching for a meticulous and data-driven individual to join our talented team and elevate our company and clients to the next level.
Responsibilities:
As a Pay Per Click Google Ads Specialist, you will play a key role in understanding Google Ads intricately and collaborating with our team to ensure seamless campaign optimisation & management.
This is a remote position where your responsibilities will focus on the technical aspects of Pay Per Click, specifically Search Engine Marketing on Google Ad’s search, video, and display campaigns. You will be responsible for creating, building, managing, optimising, analysing, and implementing accounts on a day-to-day basis, ensuring precision in execution, and working alongside our client manager and any relevant internal teams.
Using the left brain (campaign strategy and data analysis), skills make our Paid Media PPC specialists core to our team. They are the lifeblood of our organisation, and we’re looking to find more wonderful tea

- You’ll be graded on your client retention and campaign performance
- Once you manage a full slate (we have an algorithm to determine a full slate based on the bandwidth taken up by the types of clients on your plate), you can be promoted up to 3 tiers as a specialist.
- Not only is there growth as a specialist, but there is also the potential opportunity for a pathway as a Client Manager who is involved in client management, top-level account performance & strategy.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Problem-solving: The cardinal sin at our company is asking someone a question you could have solved yourself. We need people willing to “figure it out” and not mind rolling up their sleeves. That doesn’t mean we aren’t here to support you, we are. But only when you encounter a problem that you truly can’t solve. You’re expected to bring more to the table than expected and hurdle problems, not allow them to get in your way.
- Initiative: Motivated by competition and results. You are likely a skilled, pragmatic enforcer whose focus on achievement and success can help those around you accomplish goals. You speak directly and make decisions quickly. You like to explore worthwhile, practical solutions.
- Strategy: Your job is to learn about the client’s business and understand what they sell, who they sell to, etc. Understanding the Then, alongside the team, guides the client towards strategies that help their ad campaigns become as profitable as possible. If this means they need to change their website, it’s up to you to realise this and recommend it to them. If this means their obsession with getting a low click-through rate is hurting them because the quality of their website traffic is dropping (and consequently their conversion rates), it’s up to you to educate them on a better metric to base their campaign success on.
What You Should Have:
- At least 6 months of full-time hands-on experience with Google Ads PPC Paid Media.
- Proven Google Ads track record and expertise to deliver or assist in outstanding results.
- High attention to detail.
- Keen sense of problem-solving
- Highly analytical and data-driven thinker.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and also work efficiently autonomously.
- Perform keyword research, strategising, implementing, budget management and optimisation for performance-focused paid campaigns.
- Ongoing tracking towards client’s KPIs.
- Experience with AI & automation.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets knowledge.
- Conversion Tracking / Google Tag Management Experience (Not Required But Advantageous).
- Australia Campaign / Accounts Experience (Not Required But Advantageous).
- Holistic understanding of Search Engine Marketing and the marketing journey.
- Attitude to self-develop and stay up to date with Google Ads trends
- Able to adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong English proficiency: Verbal and written
- Willing to work an AU time zone: Mon - Fri AEST Time (8 Hours + 1 Hour Break) - Flexible Start / End Time
- Remote working. This is a remote (work-from-home) position.
- Must be able to do Video Chats: Have access to a desktop, webcam, etc.
