The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land development and proficiency in Civil 3D software.

Key responsibilities:

Site analysis:
Conducting thorough surveys of a parcel of land to assess topography, soil conditions, existing utilities, zoning restrictions, and potential environmental impacts.

Master planning:
Creating a comprehensive layout for the development, including the placement of roads, buildings, parks, and other amenities, considering traffic flow and community needs.

Grading design:
Planning the necessary earthwork to achieve desired elevations and drainage patterns on the site.

Utility design:
Designing the layout and specifications for water, sewer, storm drains, and electrical systems to service the development.

Stormwater management:
Designing systems to collect and manage rainwater runoff to prevent flooding and erosion.

Permitting and compliance:
Navigating local zoning regulations and obtaining necessary permits for construction.

Different types of land development design projects could involve:
Residential subdivisions: Designing single-family or multi-family housing communities
Commercial developments: Planning shopping centers, office parks, or mixed-use projects
Industrial parks: Designing sites for manufacturing facilities
Greenfield development: Developing previously undeveloped land

Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in land development engineering.
3. Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Civil 3D software.
4. Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
5. Remote Work: Proven ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
