Company Overview:
We are a reputable painting company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented remote accountant to manage our accounting and financial tasks through QuickBooks. This position requires efficiency, organization, and close collaboration with our head of accountants and management team to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations.

Responsibilities:

- Create and manage customer invoices in QuickBooks.
- Generate and maintain bills for subcontractors.
- Update daily deductions on contractors' bill payments, including tracking and documenting purchases.
- Prepare and deliver weekly balance sheets and process checks for contractor payments.
- Fully manage accounts receivable and payable in QuickBooks.
- Collaborate with our head of accounting on tax preparation and compliance.
- Provide weekly financial reports to company owners.
- Regularly upload, update, and reconcile monthly expenses to ensure accurate financial records.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience with accounting and bookkeeping, especially in QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ability to generate financial reports and perform regular reconciliations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work remotely with a team.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and document management.
- Experience in the construction or painting industry is a plus.
