The Recruitment Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure the timely and effective hiring of qualified candidates. This role involves working closely with hiring managers, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting virtual interviews, and overseeing the onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities:
-Collaborates with hiring managers to understand manpower needs and develop recruitment plans.
-Assists in creating and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
-Utilizes various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
-Builds and maintains a pipeline of potential candidates through continuous networking and proactive sourcing efforts.
-Reviews resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
-Conducts interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
-Provides recommendations to hiring managers based on interview outcomes and candidate evaluations.
-Facilitates the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and necessary paperwork.
-Ensures new employees are integrated smoothly into the company culture and their respective roles.
-Builds and maintains strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external recruitment partners.
-Prepares and presents recruitment reports and metrics
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
-At least 3 to 4 years of experience in recruitment
-Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Strong organizational and time management skills.
-High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
-Reliable internet connection
-CRM experience is a plus (e.g Employment Hero) or any HR CRM.
