Job Overview
CFS Companies is seeking a Real Estate Investment/Insurance Assistant to support our real estate team in identifying and assessing property investment opportunities and to assist with insurance-related tasks. This dual role involves researching properties based on criteria set by the supervisor, analyzing investment potential, assisting with customer outreach, and supporting insurance processes. Training will be provided to perform Comparative Market Analyses (CMAs) and to understand the basics of relevant insurance coverage.

Key Responsibilities
Real Estate Investment Duties
Research Properties: Utilize various tools and databases to find properties throughout the USA.
Property Selection: Select properties based on specific criteria (e.g., location, price range, market trends) provided by the supervisor.
Investment Assessment: Evaluate properties for potential investment opportunities, including estimated returns and market viability.
Comparative Market Analyses (CMAs): Perform CMAs (with training provided) to estimate property value and ROI.
Customer Outreach: Conduct outreach to customers, providing property information and addressing inquiries.
Reporting & Communication: Regularly update supervisors on potential property leads and investment options.
Data Management: Maintain property databases, organize research findings, and track follow-ups.
Collaboration: Work with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.

Insurance Assistant Duties
Policy Research & Quotes: Collaborate with insurance providers to gather and compare quotes for property or liability insurance related to real estate investments.
Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain up-to-date records of all insurance policies, endorsements, and renewals, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and applicable regulations.
Claims Coordination: Monitor and assist in the claims process by following up on required documentation, liaising with relevant parties, and ensuring timely resolution.
Customer & Team Support: Address routine insurance-related inquiries from customers or teaUpgrade to see actual infombers, escalating complex issues when necessary.
Policy Renewals: Track policy expiration dates and initiate renewal processes to prevent coverage lapses.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed of changes in insurance regulations and industry best practices, making recommendations for process improvements.

Required Skills
Interpersonal & Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both real estate and insurance inquiries.
Research & Analytical: Strong ability to gather data, assess property/investment values, and compare insurance policy options.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous record-keeping and thorough review of insurance documents and property data.
Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple assignments (property searches, insurance renewals, claims follow-ups) within tight deadlines.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace.
Adaptability & Quick Learning: Willing and able to learn new tools, methods, and insurance processes.
Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications
Previous experience in real estate and/or insurance (preferred but not required).
Reliable internet connection for remote work.
Willingness to be trained in real estate investment analysis and foundational insurance procedures.
Familiarity with property and casualty insurance is a plus.
