QA Tester with Cypress Experience Needed

Our client is seeking a motivated QA Tester to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and formulate comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Develop, execute, and automate tests using Cypress.js to ensure the quality and stability of the client’s software applications.
- Conduct manual testing as required, including regression testing, exploratory testing, and usability testing.
Identify, document, and monitor defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Work closely with developers and product managers to convey test results, offer feedback, and aid in issue resolution.
- Engage in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes to uphold and enhance software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes and best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the QA and testing domain.
- 20 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Experience with ALL of the following: integration testing, acceptance testing, smoke testing, regression testing
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in QA testing.
- A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with Cypress.js or a similar automated testing framework.
- Outstanding candidates will have experience working on complex system, not just simple websites
- Proficient understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test scripts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments is advantageous.
- Capacity to swiftly adapt and learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
