Python and FTP scripts

I am looking for someone to create a script for me in order to merge our recommended inventory data with our suppliers FTP feeds that show quantity available and price. I would like to know who has the stock and also the price comparisons of them.

I am not familiar with the requirements of doing this so please let me know if there is a different amount needed to complete such a task. This may lead into a more regular position with our team.
