JOB OVERVIEW

Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly persistent and results-driven Purchaser & Load Management Specialist to handle supplier and logistics outreach, negotiation, and load fulfillment at the lowest possible cost. This role requires strong negotiation skills, strategic decision-making, and unwavering perseverance—you will face a lot of rejection, but you must keep pushing forward to secure loads at our target price.

This position demands resilience, organization, and a sharp ability to analyze costs and logistics options while maintaining accurate tracking and documentation in Airtable.

Key Responsibilities:
-Supplier & Logistics Outreach: Continuously reach out to new and existing pallet suppliers and freight brokers to secure the best pricing. Rejection is expected, but persistence is key.
-Negotiation & Decision-Making: Relentlessly negotiate with suppliers and logistics providers to fulfill loads at our target price without compromising quality.
-Load Management & Tracking: Monitor active loads, ensure smooth fulfillment, and immediately address any disruptions.
-Database Management: Maintain and update a detailed Airtable database of suppliers, freight brokers, and pricing.
-Documentation & Reporting: Accurately record all transaction details, communications, and pricing agreements to ensure transparency and efficiency.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Overcome sourcing challenges, negotiate alternatives, and stay persistent until loads are successfully covered.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with internal teams to align purchasing strategies and meet company goals.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Perseverance & Resilience – You will hear “no” often, but your job is to keep going until the load is covered at our price.
- Procurement & Logistics Experience – Background in supply chain, purchasing, or freight brokerage preferred.
- Negotiation Mastery – Must be confident and aggressive in securing the best deals.
- Data Management – Must know how to track and organize pricing, suppliers, and loads efficiently in Airtable.
- Google Workspace Proficiency – Must be comfortable using Google Sheets, Docs, Gmail, and Drive for tracking and reporting.
- Attention to Detail & Organization – Every detail must be recorded; nothing should slip through the cracks.
- Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving – Must be able to quickly analyze situations and make the best decisions for cost and efficiency.

Work Conditions:
- Full-time position following EST time zone.
- Work will be tracked using Time Doctor for productivity and exclusivity.
- Salary: $400/month base (Paid biweekly) + bonus incentives.
- Fully remote role.
