Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced publishing VA to oversee the AI-driven book publishing process, manage formatting and proofreading, and coordinate publishing tasks with minimal input. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and can work independently to ensure smooth execution of publishing workflows.
In addition to publishing responsibilities, you will also assist with social media engagement and branding when time allows. This role is perfect for someone with a strong publishing background, copywriting and design skills, and a proactive mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Publishing VA (Main Role)
Oversee the entire AI-driven book publishing process from manuscript to publication.
Proofread, edit, and format books for eBook and print (Amazon KDP experience strongly preferred).
Conduct market research to identify high-demand book topics and optimize content.
Track project timelines and ensure all publishing steps are completed on schedule.
Coordinate with editors, designers, and freelancers to finalize book assets.
Manage and monitor book performance, including sales and reviews.
Social Media & Branding Support (Backup Tasks)
Create simple, branded social media posts using Canva.
Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages.
Research trending content and topics to improve social media engagement.
Assist with refining brand messaging and consistency.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in book publishing (Amazon KDP or similar platforms).
- Strong English writing, proofreading, and formatting skills.
- Experience in project or workflow management with minimal supervision.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva proficiency preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Social media engagement experience is a plus but not required.
