Job Title: Virtual Assistant – Psychiatric Practice
Job Type: Full-Time (Remote)
Work Hours: 9 AM – 6 PM CST (Mandatory)
Location: Remote (Must be able to work on video via the EHR system)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant with a nursing degree to support our psychiatric practice. The ideal candidate must be proficient in medical billing, medical scribing, and medical insurance benefits verification. Strong communication skills, excellent English proficiency, and technical expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and EHR systems (Tebra/Kareo) are required.

Key Responsibilities:
Medical Scribing: Accurately document patient encounters in real-time within the EHR (Tebra/Kareo).
Medical Billing & Insurance: Verify patient insurance benefits, process claims, and handle billing inquiries.
Administrative Support: Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and assist with office workflows.
Patient Communication: Communicate professionally with patients regarding appointments, insurance, and follow-ups.
EHR Management: Navigate and update patient data within Tebra/Kareo EHR efficiently.
Microsoft Office & Adobe Use: Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.
Video Presence: Be available on video throughout working hours to collaborate effectively.
Required Qualifications:
? Must hold a degree in nursing (RN, BSN, or equivalent).
? Proficient in medical billing, medical scribing, and insurance benefits verification.
? Strong command of English with excellent vocabulary and clear communication skills.
? Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.
? Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR), especially Tebra/Kareo.
? Must be available full-time (9 AM – 6 PM CST).
? Comfortable working on video while using the EHR system.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a psychiatric or mental health practice is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a virtual setting.
