Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Remote Property Manager to handle the day-to-day management of rental properties from a virtual location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inbound calls, coordinating property maintenance, and ensuring excellent customer service to tenants and property owners.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling Inbound Calls:
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
Provide accurate and timely information about properties, lease terms, and services
Address and resolve tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests
Property Management:
Explain lease terms to new tenants
Coordinate maintenance of buildings and grounds
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Oversee tax requirements as necessary
Customer Service:
Maintain positive relationships with tenants and property owners
Use empathy and active listening skills when addressing tenant concerns
Document all interactions and follow up on issues in a timely manner
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and property details
Use property management software to track maintenance requests, rent payments, and other relevant information
Prepare reports for property owners as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and fair housing regulations
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
Previous experience in property management or related field
