We are seeking a Property Management Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a property management firm. The ideal candidate will be highly self-sufficient, patient, quick-thinking, and have excellent problem-solving skills. This role requires handling tenant communication, vendor management, billing, and assisting with various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls from tenants and route them to the appropriate team.
- Oversee and maintain the work order system, ensuring all issues are promptly resolved.
- Handle client billing inquiries, disputes, and ledger reviews.
- Manage vendor communications and ensure timely service delivery.
- Assist in drafting and sending building notices and other communications.
- Proactively support the property manager with ad-hoc projects and tasks.
- Keep tenant records up-to-date, including notes on work orders and billing adjustments.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Appfolio, including arrears reporting, billing explanations, work orders, lease expiration summaries, tenant communications, issuing credits/charges, and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in Slack and MS Office tools (Outlook, Word).
- Industry experience in property management or a related field.
- Exceptional critical thinking and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently, think quickly, and manage multiple tasks.
- High levels of patience and emotional intelligence to handle challenging tenant interactions.
