The Company
New Age Lettings, an online property investment and management agency specialising in
rent 2 rent for HMOs, Serviced Apartments and property management. The company was
established in 2017 by a former estate agent who realised that not every landlord was
happy with the standard way of renting out their properties. Whilst we occasionally offer
your typical let only and management service, our main service is the guaranteed rent
model. With this service, we offer landlords guaranteed rent regardless of if their property is
rented or not and deal with the hassle of managing the tenants. In the future the company
is set to venture into property development.

• Monday – Friday 9AM – 6PM (8-hour shift)

Job summary
We are currently seeking a conscientious individual to join our team as a Property Assistant.
This role is instrumental in the day-to-day management of our property portfolio, involving
a keen attention to detail and organisational skills. A strong grasp of the English language
both spoken and written is essential for ensuring seamless operation of our property-
related activities. Please note full training will be provided so previous experience in
property is not required. However, we require individuals possessing the following skill set:

Responsibilities - This position is adaptable and will pivot based on the evolving needs of
the company; the current emphasis is on maintenance and bill management. Full training
will be provided
Maintenance
• Schedule and coordinate property maintenance tasks.
• Communicate with contractors
• Get quotes, authorise jobs and monitor them until completion.
• Keep detailed records of scheduled and completed maintenance
• Liaise with contractors, service providers, tenants, landlords and contractors
• Organise property inspections
Bills
• Open and close bills
• Review, process, and pay for bills
• Manage bill related issues
• Create company accounts
• Update bills tracker correspondence
General Administration
• Filter, organise, and respond to
• Oversee day-to-day property management activities
• Advertise properties and maintain the ads
• Organise and schedule meetings and property viewings
• Create agreements, invoices, and prepare other documents.
• Perform data entry tasks
• Draft and issue tenancy agreements
• Utilise property management software and tools
Airbnb Management
• Communicate with Airbnb guests
• Create and manage property listings on Airbnb
Finance
• Maintain property and financial records
• Review and process invoices
• Track and update systems with expenses
• Monitor rent payments
Communication
• Facilitate quick and effective communication with landlords, tenants and contractors
• Provide customer service
• Respond to company inquiries via phone
Purchasing and Inventory
• Purchase property-related items
• Maintain inventory of stock and furniture
