**Operations and Project Manager Job Description**

BuyerQuest, Inc. a subsidiary of Varis is looking for an experienced Project and Operations Manager that can work cross-functionally to improve organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate is incredibly organized and has managed operational projects in Asana, technical projects in Jira, and customer data in Hubspot. Simply put, you will become the glue that holds the company together!

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Operational Support**
- Improve internal organization and on-time delivery, ensuring projects are completed promptly and nothing slips through the cracks.
- Manage and maintain software access for internal teams, ensuring secure and appropriate use.
- Oversee operational workflows, identifying and addressing bottlenecks to enhance efficiency.

2. **Project Management**
- Track and manage key initiatives
- Collaborate with technical/product teams to address system interdependencies and mitigate cascading effects proactively.
- Provide project updates and ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

3. **Communication & Reporting**
- Facilitate clear communication across teams, ensuring priorities and expectations are well-understood.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports to track progress on strategic goals, operational metrics, and customer satisfaction levels.
- Escalate critical issues strategically to reduce unnecessary executive involvement.

**Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** 5+ years in operations or project management, preferably in a software or SaaS business.
- **Skills:**
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to juggle priorities across multiple teams.
- Excellent communication skills for managing cross-functional collaboration and customer relationships.
- Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- **Technical Acumen:** Understanding of technical workflows and ability to work effectively with product and engineering teams.
- **Problem Solving:** A proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
