Our mission is to deliver high-quality, efficient, and safe underground utility projects. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly experienced and certified Project Manager to oversee and drive successful project execution in a remote capacity.

Job Summary

We are looking for a remote Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in underground utility construction and all relevant certifications, including Six Sigma Black Belt. This role will require strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to manage projects effectively from a distance while ensuring on-site teams meet safety, quality, and timeline objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution: Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.

Process Improvement: Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.

Budget & Cost Control: Develop and track project budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability.

Team & Resource Management: Remotely manage project teams, subcontractors, and equipment logistics to optimize productivity.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to OSHA, DOT, and local regulations, maintaining a strong culture of safety.

Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, maintaining clear communication and expectations.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze project performance data and generate reports for leadership.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, troubleshoot challenges, and implement proactive solutions.


Qualifications

? 10+ years of project management experience in underground utilities (telecommunications, power, or water)
? Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
? Certifications Required:

PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2

Six Sigma Black Belt (mandatory)

OSHA 30, DOT, and other industry-related safety/compliance certifications
? Experience with budget management, scheduling, and risk assessment
? Proficiency in remote project management tools (Smartsheets, Asana, Procore, Microsoft Project, etc.)
? Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
