Product Designer & 3D Printing Technician (Fusion 360 & Bambu Labs Expert)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and autonomous Product Designer & 3D Printing Technician to join our team remotely. This role involves designing and developing innovative 3D-printed products every week, from concept to final production, with a focus on functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturability.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in Fusion 360 and have hands-on experience with Bambu Labs 3D printers, their slicing software, and settings optimization. You will be responsible for creating detailed CAD models, preparing print files, troubleshooting designs for 3D printing, and refining prototypes to ensure high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
-Independently design and develop weekly 3D-printed products using Fusion 360.
-Prepare, slice, and optimize 3D models using Bambu Labs software for efficient and high-quality printing.
-Troubleshoot and refine designs to improve printability, durability, and overall aesthetics.
-Conduct material and print setting adjustments for optimal performance on Bambu Labs 3D printers.
-Collaborate remotely with the team for feedback and design improvements.
-Maintain a well-organized digital library of design files and iterations.

Requirements:

-Mandatory: Strong experience in Fusion 360 (parametric modeling, assembly, and rendering).
-Mandatory: Hands-on expertise with Bambu Labs 3D printers, their slicer, and print optimization.
-A strong portfolio showcasing 3D-printed designs and product development experience.
-Ability to work independently and efficiently while delivering consistent, high-quality designs each week.
-Knowledge of different filaments, print settings, and post-processing techniques is a plus.
-Experience with iterative prototyping and troubleshooting for manufacturability.
