Ultra Labs is a U.S.-based business incubator/accelerator focused on software and tech-based ventures. We are looking for a talented Product Designer to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and visual identity of our digital products.

Job Description:
As a Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with product managers and developers to translate business requirements into innovative design solutions. You’ll oversee the entire design process—from conceptualization to final delivery—ensuring that our products excel in usability, accessibility, and aesthetic appeal. You will be expected to use your expertise in user research, prototyping, and interaction design to maintain a user-centric approach, iterating designs based on feedback and data.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and translate them into compelling visual and interactive designs.
- Drive the design process from initial concept to finished product, ensuring consistency and alignment with project goals.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine design solutions.
- Advocate for the user in product discussions and actively contribute to defining product features and strategy.
- Ensure designs are consistent with industry standards for usability, responsiveness, and accessibility.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and align design solutions with business objectives.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in product or software design.
- Proven expertise in designing for SaaS applications.
- Strong proficiency in Figma.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design.
- Experience in conducting user research and testing.
- Ability to communicate design concepts and ideas effectively to stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for crafting excellent user experiences.
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
