Prior authorization Specialist (Homecare company)

Submitting, Tracking and follow up of Nursing and HHA Prior Authorization.

? Take care of PCA referral

? Adding any Claims/active PAs to the referral tracker - daily

? Overseeing Therapy PA

? Update patient’s chart with insurance changes

? Participate in billing meeting as needed

? Follow up emails from billing team

Submitting, Tracking and follow up of Rehab Prior Authorization

• Insurance checks twice a month and as needed

• Running rehab evaluation report daily

• Assist with with faxing and following up MD orders and plan of care for signature

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE ATLEAST 2 YEARS AS PRIOR AUTHORIZATION SPECIALIST IN USA MEDICAID SYSTEM , AND MORE PREFERABLY IN HOME CARE
