We are seeking a results-driven Marketing Manager to lead the marketing efforts of a Regional Pest Control company operating in Georgia and Florida. This role involves overseeing all marketing initiatives, optimizing the company’s digital presence, and ensuring the successful execution of strategies that drive growth, customer retention, and brand visibility. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital marketing, SEO, content management, and utilizing marketing tools like HubSpot and ChatGPT. Strong leadership skills in managing projects using Asana and leading a marketing team through weekly communications are key to this role.
Due to the importance of this position, all applicants must take the skills assessment to apply, it will require Google Chrome. We are only looking for the best of the best to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Marketing Leadership:
Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies:
Lead the development and execution of a multi-channel marketing plan that covers digital advertising, SEO, social media, content marketing, and print advertising to drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
Marketing Team Leadership:
Lead weekly marketing team calls, providing clear instructions and updates on ongoing projects. Ensure the team remains focused on goals and deadlines through the effective use of Asana as a project
management tool.
Collaboration with Sales:
Collaborate with the Sales Manager to ensure marketing initiatives support the sales pipeline, with a
focus on lead generation and nurturing efforts through integrated marketing strategies.
2. Digital Marketing & SEO Management:
Local SEO & Ranking Optimization:
Manage local SEO efforts, ensuring visibility and performance of the company’s multiple Google Business Profiles (GBP). Use Local Falcon and Places Scout to track point-by-point Google Maps rankings and optimize for better local search performance.
Content Strategy & SEO:
Oversee the development of content for the company’s WordPress website, ensuring that all blog posts, service pages, and multimedia content are optimized for SEO. Work with tools like Ahrefs, Whitespark, and Google Search Console (GSC) to continuously improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
Google Ads & Local Services Ads (LSA):
Lead and optimize all Google Ads campaigns, including Local Services Ads (LSA), ensuring cost-effective campaigns that generate high-quality leads.
3. HubSpot & CRM Management:
HubSpot Implementation & Integration:
Manage the implementation and ongoing use of HubSpot to automate marketing tasks, lead nurturing workflows, and
4. Website & Technical Management:
Web Hosting & DNS Management:
Ensure smooth operation of the company’s website, including management of DNS settings, domain registration, and handling production and staging environments for website updates and new feature deployments.
Content Strategy for 2025:
Lead the development of the 2025 content strategy, ensuring regular updates to blogs, service pages, and other website content to support SEO and customer engagement goals.
5. Analytics & Performance Reporting:
GA4, GSC, & Ahrefs Reporting:
Provide regular reporting on key marketing metrics, leveraging tools such as Google Analytics 4(GA4), Ahrefs, and GSC to track performance. Present weekly reports to the CEO, focusing on ROI, conversion rates, and lead generation metrics.
Call Tracking Integration:
Manage the company’s call tracking system, ensuring integration with GA4, HubSpot, and GBP for accurate lead attribution and campaign performance tracking.
6. Use of AI Tools:
Leverage ChatGPT for Marketing & Content Creation:
Utilize ChatGPT to enhance content creation efforts, including writing blog posts, generating service page content, answering customer FAQs, and automating chatbot interactions on the website to improve lead generation.
7. Customer Retention & Referral Programs:
Retention Campaigns:
Develop and manage customer retention strategies, including loyalty programs, referral incentives, and targeted
8. Brand Development & Reputation Management:
Brand Consistency:
Ensure all marketing materials and communications maintain a consistent brand voice across digital platforms, printed materials, and customer touchpoints.
Reputation Management:
Oversee online reputation management efforts across GBP, Yelp, and other review platforms. Respond promptly to reviews, ensuring customer concerns are addressed, and the company’s online reputation remains strong.
9. Budget Management & Financial Oversight:
Marketing Budget Management:
Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective spending across all channels and initiatives. Provide regular reports to the CEO on budget performance and ROI for marketing activities.
Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2+ years in a management role, preferably within the home services or pest control industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in HubSpot, Google Ads, GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, call tracking platforms, Local
Falcon, Places Scout, and experience with managing web hosting and DNS.
Leadership & Project Management: Strong leadership abilities with experience leading weekly marketing calls and managing projects in Asana or similar tools.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze marketing performance metrics, use data to drive decisions, and present findings in a clear, actionable way.
Budget Management: Demonstrated experience managing and optimizing marketing budgets to achieve high ROI.
